If a restaurant is considered a B, as it’s under 50 occupants, can you use B when it applies to the fire alarm (907.2.2) or do you need to use A2 (907.2.1)?

If A2, can you point me to the blurb that outlines this?

I agree.
It is a "B" occupancy, including fire system requirements.

A doesn't require a fire alarm anyway until it's "300 or more, or where the Group A occupant load is more than 100 persons above or below the lowest level of exit discharge."
