It is with a heavy heart and sense of loss that I share with you the passing of Robert J. Lynch, FAIA this past evening.

Robert wqs a polio survivor from Winchester, MA, a graduate of Notre Dame (third floor classes in a building without an elevator), architect and chairman of the 1980 ANSI revision committee.

As chair of the Massachutes Committee on Access he was one of the earliest architects to assist in the development of a state access code (1967).

Robert has been teaching access and consulting in Arizona since the mid-80's. His loss will be marked by his advocacy of all things access.
