Indoor Air Handling Unit Question

There are exceptions for dwellings and other locations, basically 3 inches minimum on the sides and back and large enough space to access and remove the unit. Had a couple of units in addition to the front service space the manufacturer also needed service access clearance on the side of the unit. Check the manufacturers specs.

Mr. Gregg Harris welcome to the forum and thanks for posting the code sections.

Both manufacturer install instructions and IMC should be followed, 306.2 gives you 36"x80" high, but as always there are exceptions..... 24"x30" working platform may be all that is required....
