Is an Exit Passage subject to Dead End Corridor limitations?

I know, it's an Exit Passage not a Corridor so the answer is in the question right? But codes are never really that straight forward so I have to ask. I have a fully sprinkled existing building with a new assembly occupancy that is really challenged to get a third exit. The solution seems to be an Exit Passage that discharges directly to the outside but that results in a long dead end.

No. The requirements for dead ends are in the section for corridors only. The is no mention of dead ends in the Section for exit passageways.
