2006 IEBC Level 2 Alteration

PA UCC (the State is the only one to make determination of (technical infeasibility)

Existing unisex restroom has lavatory within the WC clear floor space. (Was acceptable when constructed)

Under level 2 alterations, the restroom is required to be accessible. There is not enough room to move the lavatory out of the CFS. Should the applicant be required to make the existing bathroom larger to accommodate the clear floor space?

If the municipality is an opt-in, pay the $100.00 and go see the accessibility review board. They will prob let that slide, but it is their call.

If they are opt-out, go see the Industrial Board.
