ISO Building codes for docks/waterfront structures in Florida

Hello, I am a new dock builder and am looking for the Florida building code that regulates private, residential docks. I have searched, extensively on iccsafe.org but can not find what I am looking for. Can anyone provide me with guidance?

Located where? If on a navigable waterway, I believe the Army Corps of Engineers has jurisdiction.

My local plans and review department has said the requirements are in the Florida Building Code. I just can't find it in the FBC.

Because it must be engineered, none is prescriptive, not even the dock framing in a high wind zone. The structural design requirements are in the FBC in the same chapter as the IBC. You must have an engineer for all seawalls, dock/king pilings, etc.

A dock is a "structure."

Just curious, does Florida require the dock styrofoam billets' to be encapsulated?
