Not where I really want to be
61 people had registered before May 1st and did not complete the email confirmation. All of them were sent a manual email reminder to check their spam box and some who responded were sent manual email confirmation links if they could not find them. The 61 people deleted registered but did not complete the process. Some may have been spammers but some had very legitimate email addresses which concerns me.

If you have referred anyone to this board, please ensure that you let them know they must confirm their email through an email confirmation link that will be sent to their registered email. This helps to keep out spammers.

I would rather see 61 more members than delete them but I seem to be doing this about every other month. For whatever reason, there is always an abundance of registrants that don't complete the process.

Just and FYI. Thanks.

you can only explain to some folks so many times........if they don't get it, they don't get it.

thanks for keeping the spammers out.. the email confirmation is a good way to do it.. I'm ok with deleting some..

Have you tested the registration process... maybe with different browsers as well? Just wondering if there is a glitch. If you are open to the world as opposed to just the US then I'd expect multiple spammer attempts per day and this may just be one part that you are seeing.
