Life safety implications of being over 145'?

I don't wee a life safety section so I'm trying here.

I hope this is a quick question--I don't have access to a code consultant and am getting bogged down trying to track down the answer to this. I know there are essentially trigger heights where life safety changes--the one I run into most often is 70' = high rise code.

145' is another one of those height triggers, right? What is required for a commercial building over 145'? Or point me to where I can find this?

Feels like a very basic question, but I done a fair amount of searching with no success.

Read the definition of HIGH-RISE BUILDING in section 202 and then read section 403 from beginning to end.

I found the reference to 70 feet in the Massachusetts amendment for Chapter 2.

I don’t see the height of 145 feet mentioned.

I think most of us here can tell you what the unamended IBC states and what their locally adopted codes state. But only a person familiar with the Massachusetts State Building Code can provide what that code states. That is why you should mention the applicable code in posts if you want relevant information.

Apparently, the code posted for Massachusetts on the ICC website is just the basic 2015 IBC and does not include any state amendments. I assume the link provided indicates what the state code includes (it does say it is an unofficial version), so most of the IBC requirements are unchanged. You will have to review each amendment to see if Massachusetts modified the IBC text.

Building requirements based on height are scattered throughout the code, but most are included in Chapter 4 for high-rise buildings.

As mentioned previously I seen the 70 foot requirements multiple places at different times but I've never seen one for 145 foot I'm guessing if there is one it must be a local code requirement.

Boston is special, and from my understanding has the power to further modify the 2015 !BC, with Massachusetts State amendments.
Additional has some specific fire code requirements.

Advice from a guy 60 miles from Boston
