Linen closet requirements

I'm looking for linen closet construction requirements, I thought there was some requirements like a 1-HR wall requirement and or a sprinkler requirement? Code section?

2007 NFPA 13R-6.9.3 describes where a closet (linen, clothes, pantry...) does not require sprinkler protection, based on dimensions and noncombustible/limited-combustible wall and ceiling surface materials.

Just wanted to make sure I did'nt miss something, the plans appear to be compliant, closets not rooms. I thought I had seen something on linen closets but could not find it!

Under the square footage requirement.

In a true hospital or other 101 facility maybe

52 s.f. with one pendent sprinkler, 5/8" fire shield, mold resistant drywall. I think its good to go.

Check with state regulatios to see if they have more strigent requirments - Health care Hospitials, Nursing homes and assited living (if Memory Care Services are provided) require the linen rooms to be 1 hour rated for seperation - (IN SC) = Your state may greatly differ.
