I had been "invited" to join but really don't know anyone utlizing the org to find out much about it.

My wife is there and when she joined she heard from quite a few of her former classmates. Any profession I might lay claim to wouldn't fit with any Linkedin category. Come to think of it, I've never had a profession. Well there was a stint in the circus but it ended on a sour note so I don't count that. It was because of me that they now count the trainers after every performance.

That was the long and short of it...a social networking site for professionals with 1/10th the functionality of facebook, and 1/10th the effectiveness of monster dot com. I talked to an RDP today who is in my network, and they didn't even know we were "LinkedIn" as the cool kids say.

USE it all the time have contact with design Pros, Contractors, Associations for education items
