LPG line protection underground?

We are racking our brains to find a code citation that says buried LPG (or other fuel lines) should be in trenches free or rock or similar items that could damage the line.

We all distinctly remember it but can't find it.

Help!?!?!

404.13 Trenches.

The trench shall be graded so that the pipe has a firm, substantially continuous bearing on the bottom of the trench.
