Maintain HVAC unit to prevent mold

20 unit, 2 story apartment house built in Los Angeles in 2004 to 2001 LABC.
What is the ongoing duty of landlord to maintain tenant HVAC to prevent mold growth in unit?

Tenant put in a work order till done??

Not familiar with LABC, but I have a hard time imagining that this would be covered under a building code.

I'd check with the housing authority.

initial install must be code compliant, after it is the duty of the landlord subject to lease provisions and local ordinances.

Does calif have it or similar adopted ??

Is there a national PMC? CA does have many ordinances related to landlords.
