MAJOR UPDATE TODAY JULY 10, 2024

Expect some downtime today (minimal if everything goes right).

This is a major and mandatory Xenforo update, so it has to be done. I am backing up the server right now in case something goes wrong.

What will be different?

There are a myriad of new features and improvements. Here's a brief overview of our favorites:

• Style variants with Dark mode
• Improved performance
• Featured content
• Image optimization
• Automation with webhooks
• SSO with OAuth2 ( I geek out on this part)
• Passwordless logins with passkeys
• Trending content

This is not an exhaustive list of what's new in 2.3, and you can read more about the above and other new changes/improvements features in the Have you seen...? forum.

Every time I read about all the stuff that goes into this site I shake my head. I can barely operate my cell phone. So thanks for the spending your treasure (I consider time and money as treasure) on what I can only see as passion of yours that we all benefit from.

I have no idea where you get the energy. Is there a pill I can take?

Failed Update. Will have to try another day. We were down for about an hour or so. I have to update some add-ons and templates first before I try this update again. Our IT guy saved my butt today with a server backup right before we attempted the update.
