I have double exit door in an A-2 occupancy where one leaf is 3ft and the other is 2ft.

The 3ft leaf is large enough to accommodate the occupant load.

Per the code we cannot use manual flush bolts on the 2ft leaf.

If so, are you allowed to put panic hardware, with vertical rods, on this small 2ft wide leaf?

Thanks, Ryan

Yes but

Where are these doors??

Exterior wall

Corridor

Coming out of a room??

Have you calculated the required exit width???

Is the two footer required as part of the exit width??

What year IBC?
