Medical Air Piping

In NFPA 99,
1) Does the copper pipe requirement apply to the compressor intake piping?
2) On the compressor intake piping, can Vanstone flanges be used?

1): Yes, and Exhaust piping too !.......Refer to Page 12 & 16.

2): I haven't found any documentation regarding the use of Vanstone Flanges
on medical air piping...........I recommend that you contact the NFPA
and a Vanstone manufacturer to request information & documentation.
