Min. Dimensions; Existing Bld. Brick Walls

It'll get wierd with the toilet C/L off of the wall...but I can't imagine it would be bad enought to not allow......if all of the manuvering is good. No specific section I can think of...

The toilet needs to be skewed the same as the walls.
Interesting thought I might agree with

Question

The 16 to 18 inch requirement to the center-line of the toilet would that be for the entire length of the toilet or just the seating area?

What say you? I vote for the seating area. Reason some tanks are wider or narrower than the seating area and no tank toilets definitely exceed the 18" max in the rear area.

With the skewed walls could that make the rear grab bar in-accessible? I know there are a lot of variables with hat question. Just looking for discussion.

604.2 Location.

The water closet shall be located with a wall or partition to the rear and to one side. The centerline of the water closet shall be 16 inches (405 mm) minimum and 18 inches (455 mm) maximum from the side wall or partition.

Many of these buildings have walls built following property lines to maximize space others have walls braced into place as crooked can be.

Also the accessibility standards do not fit everyone; for some the bars are too high or too low; small elbows get stuck in between others not enough space to leverage a grip.

Note the urinal and lavatory wall is furred out squared to allow plumbing.

My experience with field crews tells me that no one is going to set that toilet any way other than aligned with the stall's back and side walls, unless there's a floor plan or plumbing note someplace telling them otherwise. IOW, it will probably not be installed as it's drawn in this plan.
