Mini storage units ??

6 individual units garage with a 2nd floor, orginally permitted as "Personal Use Only, private garage, IRC, Not approved for commercial use, etc..." (before my time and a long story).

Owner wants to convert these to legal units for rental as storage units.

Do you all use "S1" for rental storage units??

Seems like the best choice....just wondering.
 
They are maybe 400-600 feet then an upper floor of the same size. My concern is that the S1 is only allowed to be 1 story under allowable height and size, so they may have an issue.
