Minimum cage size for go-go girl

I agree with Yikes.. it's furnishing.. OSHA may look at it differently.. Mark.. how did you get that picture of me?

Thanks everyone for your contributions. I have decided to apply the same requirements for any stage, stair and electrical work with a minimum inside clear cage dimension of 27" x 27" x 84". I'm probably overstepping my boundaries considering this is stage furniture but I think it best to give a definite answer rather than pass the buck to OSHA or the union of Las Vegas entertainers.

If there are no building code requirements [which is clearly the case] then the definitive answer is, "There are no building code requirements."

That's not passing the buck, That's acting professionally.

The ones we permitted and inspected here several years back are for patron's use and are hung off the side of the mezzanine.

Sealed RDP drawings were required.

4 inch bar spacing for lower 42 inches.

Single 7 inch step down into the cage.

Size was not a code issue as these were about 5 by 5 to give a girl room to strut her stuff.

I would think around 30 x 30 as in a shower stall would be a code minimum or could quote the 5 sq ft per person minimum for standing space.

They are not accessible, as they are part of a mezzanine is not accessible (under 3000 sq ft). Main dance floor is accessible.
