From the ICC website:

Dec. 30, 2010 | NAHB Inviting ICC 700 Update Participation. The National Green Building Standard, known as ICC 700, is being updated by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) with the support of the Code Council. Persons interested in participating in this process should register with the NAHB for more information. ICC 700 is provided as a tool for guiding green construction of residential properties.

If you are an ICC member, do you see a problem with the statement above? If so, what are the chances that you would recommend your jurisdiction adopt said document?

Code written by the builders.....GREAT....hopefully they finally found the definition of the word BEARING...cause far too many I run into don't...

BEARING.....something has to hold stuff up....no... toe-nails are not enough to hold those intersecting 4 ply 11-7/8beams together
