Name That Electrical Violation : NEC _______?

300.11(C)(2) Cannot use a raceway for support of class 2 conductors unless solely for the purpose of connection to the same control circuits of the wires in the conduit.

Easy fix in this case, move the cable tie from the EMT conduit to the strap that holds the LFNC/LFMC. Not the LFNC/LFMC itself, that would be the same violation.

is the flex conduit allowed to go through the foundation?
Sure, I'm not aware of any limits on wiring methods that go through a hole drilled into concrete after the fact. Which I infer we have here, given the spalling of the white finish.

There are limits on what wiring methods can be embedded in a concrete pour, as well as limits that could apply based on what's on the other side of the concrete. Eg if it's going through the concrete to a wet location (outdoors, or in the earth), then the wiring method would need to be wet location rated.

Cheers, Wayne

Name a section in the code where an outlet is required in every commercial building and each commercial occupancy that is required to have a minimum 20 Amp branch circuit that does not supply any other load. This outlet does not need to have a receptacle, be used or connect to anything at all, and can just have a blank cover over it.

Is this an unrelated question? 600.5?

One of the low voltage contractors did this on this brand new construction.
Takes a lot of nerve to do something like this!!! It’s stuff like this that keeps inspectors up at night.

Is that a wet location or just damp?
