OK, other than the broken pipe, which is not part of the code issue here:

What is the exact violation for this installation?

You can use the IPC or IRC or both if you want.

Hint: we have covered this violation once before.

give section please.

This purple primer thing? Is'nt there another approved primer allowed by code thats's not purple, I haven't fell for this yet, if a can of primer is on the job site other than purple and it meets code it should be allowed.

It would be nice to have the vent pipe connected unless that falls under the broken pipe disclaimer?

What should be and what is are two different things. No reason they can't comply with this rule. It is not up to you to make exceptions for them. They make an approved primer called "un-purple" that requires a UV light to see the purple.

The uncolored primer is known as clear primer and cpurple of clear it was not used.

As Darren pointed out, trap wier below vent.

When a reno is started its like finding the toy at the bottom of the cereal box...

From the 2006 IRC, purple primer required, per Section P2904.9.1.3.

Per Section P2603.2.1, no nail guards installed on the steel

studs, ..possibly at the bottom steel track either.

.

P3105.2 Fixture drains.

The total fall in a fixture drain due to pipe slope shall not exceed one pipe diameter, nor shall the vent pipe connection to a fixture drain, except for water closets, be below the weir of the trap, except as provided in Section P3105.3.
