NC building code section 1014.1 notes 48" between handrails on accessible routes, IE MOE Ramps, however under 1014.8 projections notes 36" between handrails.
So my questions is, does the requirement in 1104.1 end at the front of the building and therefore the ramp is not required to meet the 48" width and is compliant with the 36" minimum between handrails?
