Good morning,
I have noticed that my last 2 project are requiring RTU's to have global shut down upon activation of sprinkler system. Is this a new code in AZ? Mostly, up until this point, the requirement for global shutdown of air handlers was controlled by duct detectors. Having the shutdown now initiated by the sprinkler system "popping" is rather new. I have not seen anything in NFPA72, but I could have missed it. Any input is appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
