Chemical engineering degree. Spent 21 years as Hazardous Materials Coordinator for the Seattle Fire Department, another 10 years with the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety in Silicon Valley, seven as Fire Marshal. Also, I'm an alternate member of the NFPA 400 (Hazardous Materials Code) Technical Committee. I'm here to see what hazmat code questions might come up and offer my two cents.
