Just sharing something personal. My youngest daughter is a second year student attending college working toward a construction management degree. Both related to her coursework, and to provide awareness of an optional career path, I have received permission from my bosses and our mayor to develop and provide a building inspection training course for her. She will be riding with me 1/2 day per week beginning in January 2014 through one school semester, during which time I will expose her to this forum and the ICC Codes and certification apparatus.

Thanksgiving day, she came over sporting a new bright red mohawk hairstyle. She enjoys poking at me in this sort of way.

I am looking forward to our time together.

Your are one lucky dad, enjoy every second you have together. Pass onto her all the things you can not read in a book and took you a life time learn, she will never forget what dad told her. What a great Christmas present for both of you.
