new posts do not pick up and show something as "new" when adding to an existing thread. Maybe just new threads show up?

I like the feature where you could see everything that was new since the last time you logged in

Me too! That's the feature I miss most that I haven't been able to figure out.

Yes, it is the thread and on the right it says who the last poster was and what day and time.

When you click on New Posts, you can look to the right at the top of the list there is another link for Recent Posts that you can click on and see the posts, not just the threads.
