. APPLICATION TIME:

The National Fire Academy will begin accepting applications for the first semester FY2011 on April 15; the application period closes June 15th. The first semester includes classes that begin October 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011.

The Applications for the Executive Fire Officer Program for 2011 also close on June 15th

Applying is easy! Follow the How to Apply information provided at: http://www.usfa.dhs.gov/nfa/about/attend/apply.shtm. Resident courses require the 2-page FEMA Form 75-5 application which is available for download at this site. While you are on that page be sure to read over the “8 Tips for Completing a Successful NFA Application” for helpful hints!
