A manual pull station is pulled.

Is there anything in 72 or something else that states the maximum time it takes before the notification devices activate???

Yes, somewhere in the 15 second range if I remember correctly... stand by _ I will get back to you. Also what edition are you using?

2013 edition - 10.12 Alarm Signals.

10.12.1

Actuation of alarm notification appliances or emergency voice communications, emergency control functions, and annunciation at the protected premises shall occur within 10 seconds after the activation of an initiating device.
