NFPA Meeting Will Impact Healthcare Design/Construction

Anyone involved in healthcare design/construction should be following, and hopefully participating in, the changes to NFPA 90A, 99, and 101. These will be voted on in Boston at the Annual Technical Meeting June 14, 15. If the changes go through as written, the cost of healthcare contsruction will be increased with little or no benefit. Even if you AHJ's do not enforce these codes, you will be forced to deal with them, since CMS, The Joint Commission, and most states do enforce them, and they are expected to adopt the 2012 versions eventually.

This really deserves a rant, but don't have the time right now.

I have also posted on the Commercial Fire forum, but this forum needs more activity, thus the cross post.

Where can we find some discussion regarding the implications of these proposals?
