This is undeniably a stupid question, but how do I calculate the occupant load for two offices and kitchen in a church (A-3) occupancy? Would it just be gross square footage based on 1 occupant per 100 sf?

No question is stupid.
From the 2018 IBC
The Business use was a change in the 2018, from 100. (unless concentrated of course)

That change made a big difference in reducing the number of required plumbing fixtures. I wonder if they will address that in future codes?
