For 2015 IBC, Section 1015.1 says comply with Section 1015.8. 1015.8 is only for R-2 and R-3. So for a Business Occupancy, Second Floor double-hung window with the sill 10 feet above grade, can I really have the sill, say 20 inches off the floor? Is there another section I should be looking at?
