http://www.calhospital.org/cha-news-article/oshpd-issues-changes-2013-california-building-code

July 12, 2012

The Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD), in conjunction with Hospital Building Safety Board ad hoc committees and CHA workgroups, has developed proposed additions and revisions to the 2013 California Building Code. The proposed code changes have been submitted to the California Building Standards Commission (CBSC), which will hold committee hearings through September to review the changes. Attached is a list of CBSC committees, and the dates, times and locations of the hearings. CHA will testify at all the committee hearings. The proposed OSHPD code changes are available at www.calhospital.org/oshpd-building-code-proposals. Hospitals with comments or concerns regarding the changes may contact Roger Richter, CHA vice president, professional services, at (916) 552-7570 or rrichter@calhospital.org
