Do the applicable Codes allow for receptacle outlets within an enclosed millwork cabinet with doors in a commercial office setting?

I am an architect in Chicago and believe the previous version of Chicago Building Code (pre IBC adoption) did not allow that. But my project is in Nebraska. Trying to find out if there's any Code requirement on that topic.

Any information is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Receptacles built into cabinetry is common and legal in both residential and commercial applications. There are some nuances for the electrician to ensure a legal installation, but this is not an issue at all.

You are correct.
In California, we place receptacles in a kitchen cabinet for CBC 11B / ADA accessibility when the reach range is too far on a wall or inside corner situation, and it can count as a required outlet per the exception in 2019 CEC 210.52(C)(5):

The California exception applies to outlets below the countertop which are on the face of the cabinet. It doesn't say anything about outlets inside the cabinet.
