I wrote an article about the 2014 NEC requirements for panic hardware on certain electrical room doors. Since I'm not an NEC expert, I'm hoping some of you might be willing to look at the article and make any suggestions. I know there is a lot more to electric rooms than just the door, but since it's for Doors & Hardware magazine, my main focus is the panic hardware.

Hi Peach (and everyone) - If a room is not officially an electrical room but maybe a mechanical room or generator room that has high voltage switchgear, do the requirements for panic hardware apply? I'm not sure what makes a room an "electrical room."
