PAR25 50W Range Hood Bulb: LED Replacement?

Depending on the hood switch, I wondered if they could make a durable LED replacement for this bulb with a high/low. Maybe LED is not a good choice because of the grease and water vapor and the amount of heat. The halogen is designed for the heat, but I like to leave the range hood on. The current bulbs are halogen.

Does anyone have any experience with LED for a range hood, or is technology just not there yet?
