Not where I really want to be
First, I hope all permit cards show the flood zone and BFE whenever a structure is in a special flood hazard area (SFHA).

How do you verify the required elevations in SFHAs?

For example, an owner plans on installing a new generator and ATS in an existing home located in an SFHA. I will assume that the floodplain administrator calls this out on the approved plans, however, what do you as an inspector do to ensure compliance with the local floodplain ordinance and R322?
