The project is the construction of a new pharmacy clean room in an existing Veteran's Administration Medical Center building. There is an existing automatic sprinkler system in the space but we need to modify so that the sprinkler heads fall in each room within the pharmacy clean room layout. Does anyone know what section of NFPA or the IFC would apply to this situation?

Do you want to restate your question

Normally NFPA 13 covers fire sprinkler installation.

But you are dealing with fed property, there maybe special provisions or guidance.

If the question is are there any special provisions for a clean room?
