Well, here we go.If you have a pic and need a place to put it this must be the place. I uploaded these pictures to the forum and left them as clickable links. That way if folks want to add more pics, and do it the same way, a long thread of pics will not have to load each time someone reads the thread again. They can just click on the new pic.I'll kick off, Daddy-O asked for some pics of something I was working on. I took the camera today. These are some heavy timber trusses we just started on, there will be 5 across the greatroom ceiling.

Nice. Are they fir or pine? I love projects like that.

It has been a fun job. The wood is eastern white pine. It was sourced kiln dried from a nearby log and timber home plant. I would have preferred a bit brighter timber, they have a good bit of blue and coffee stain, the colors near the heeljoint, but the homeowners are fans of character so it's all good. For the exterior porch posts I used oak we harvested off the property. There was enough side wood off those timbers to get some of the trim.
