This happened twice. The contractor kept asking me what I wanted him to do to protect the sewer pipe. I told him that per code it couldn't be there. He said that there was no money to move it. I told him to have his engineer make the problem go away. He told me that the engineer has done his structural observation and didn't mention the sewer pipe. I said, "That's why I am here".
