Does anybody have a formula or standard rate for a private party commercial plan review fee? By the hr or based on valuation?

Third party

We have paid 80% of our plan review fee to a third party in the past. 8 years ago was the last time we used a third party.

I assume you are talking about a third party doing plan review for a jurisdiction, coorect? It's whatever you can negotiate. I've seen it from a low of 33% to a high of 95% of the jurisdictional plan review fee.

I have a third party firm doing the commercial plan check for my jurisdiction. I charge the applicant 65% of permit fee, third party gets 75% of the 65% per signed contract.
