Plumbing Code Compliant Backflow Preventer

"The question is does it meet the IRC prescriptively?"
The backflow preventer in the picture would meet the requirementsof protection as listed in Section P2902.3.6 of the `06 IRC, if that

particular assembly conforms to the minimum standards listed.

would not work in my area the water purveyors want to be able to test them
The model that I posted is a double check and can be rebuilt but I don't see a test port. We are getting closer to the answer that no one has pointed out yet with a code reference from the IRC.

Well P2902.3.6 states "shall conform to ASSE 1015", but if you go to the site and look at the ASSE cert for that product it is 1024 and NOT 1015. So I would say no it does not work.

So is that what you were seeking?

Although the cert expired on 6/30/2007 not sure if that is relevant.
