Hello all,
Working on a small office remodel in a type II-B sprinkled building and would like to use a couple pocket doors opening from small rooms, 10'x12' or so, into the corridor.
2018 IBC.
The corridors need not be rated per table 1020.1, but how about smoke protection?
Thanks for your time and thoughts

Unless your offices are in a Group I-2 occupancy, no smoke protection is required if the corridors are not required to be fire-resistance rated.

Thanks Ron,
The building is not I-2
This is a different project than the one we were discussing the other day regarding duct penetrations in a non-sprinked corridor. After reviewing 717.5.4.1 item 3, it looks like this only pertains to duct penetrations and not doors.
