posting of occupant load for fixed-seat theaters

Question:

I've heard different interps. on this regarding whether or not fixed-seat theaters still require an occupant load sign posted......if I read my California Fire Code, it does address ANY room or space that is an assembly occupancy requires this posting....any other interpretations out there?.........

IBC still calls for it to posted. I know you're CBC but I can't see it changing that much.
