Poured Concrete Foundation Failure

I agree fail... one thing I have to explain to (like everyone).. the reinforcing steel needs to be to the inside of center of the foundation forms for it to be effective. Just like in a beam.. concrete is much stronger in compression than in tension.. needs to be located on the tension side of the neutral axis.
