Does anyone have a powerpoint, link to one, or just a good handout to instruct city employees about ADA.

Not looking for so much code related as does and dont's and a little history

I have one I created to show my office. It's about 15MB and filled with funny pictures and some diagrams. Unfortunately there aren't any speaker notes. I built it for my own presentation, so it might be hard to follow without some modification. It seemed to go over well for me so just let me know if you are interested.

I will post up a PDF on Monday and I will add a little bit of explanation and/or speaker notes if I have time to do it. If you want the PPT just PM me your @.

I tried several times to post it here but I couldn't get the file size down enough. Here's a quick summary:

In general I set it up to be fast-paced and kinda funny so as to encourage questions rather than drill down technical details. I have quite a few funny pictures and single images to use as talking points rather than lots of text. It is formatted for a 1 hour presentation even though it has 75ish slides so pacing is critical or it will not work properly.

I cover misconceptions, scoping, history (brief), and several common errors including curb ramps, handrails, protruding objects, toilet rooms (commercial and residential), and detectable warnings.

The biggest problem that needs fixing is that I borrowed some slides from a handout at a conference from a few years ago. These have old ADAAG references which could be confusing depending on the audience. If I had time to do it over I would keep some of the cartoony diagrams and totally re-write the text.

Just PM me your email if you want a copy. The PDF came out to be +-4MB so it should email just fine.
