Island sink with loop vent (no cleanouts) but here is the problem.

There is a very large, heavy duty garbage disposal that serves 1 side of a double bowl sink. Due to the fact that it connects to a tee, whenever it is used, most of the time is pushes waste up into the other sink. One issue is the size of the trap. There is a 2" line there so that can help. The biggest problem is the fact that the waste is not directed in the direction of flow but rather at a 90 deg where it hit the pipe and spreads in both direction. Does anyone have a photo of a better setup where the connection before the trap is in the direction of flow?

Much better, nice find. This is on a new construction where I am NOT doing code enforcement. I am a private inspector for this one and trying to give them some options. Thanks

what about installing an air admittance valve or "gidding" as i learned them to be, to provide more equal pressure in the system. cut it in and bring it up above the counter top like it used to

Must say that disposer trap is a great idea. My plumbing supervisor says that the only problem he sees with the disposer trap idea is; that a lot of plumbers have problems with one trap much less two..
