If you are called to inspect an AC replacement and you find the following, what how would you handle it?

From the main panel to the disconnect was not changed, only the non-metallic liquidtight and condensing unit was changed. Feeding the disconnect is #8awg THWN copper in EMT. The old disconnect has a worn label that shows UL and 60A but nothing else. The tag on the new condensing unit says Minimum Circuit Ampacity 47A and Maximum Overcurrent Protection 60A. The technician installed new liquidtight and #8 from the disconnect to the unit.

Do you see a problem with this install?

Simple answer, no. I really don't see anything wrong with it and I've actually seen it done like that many times. Since the sizing of everything is correct there is no reason to replace it as long as it's in good condition.
