Not where I really want to be
Other than the ratings of the trash chute doors, the rating and thickness of the chute material itself, what other items to you look for to issue a permit? The old chute and doors are being removed and replaced.

Fire sprinkler protection

And little canopies to protect the fire sprinkler, from trash catching on them

Terminal room up to code.

(1) What about Sound attenuation over the whole length of the chute ?
(2) How
will the Chute sections be attached \ anchored \ fastened at
each floor, along with sound isolators at each point of connection ?

(3) What about a Vent Cap on the Chute above the roof, along with
a metal explosion proof cap ?

(4) Are there proposed locks on each access door to prevent
unauthorized dumping ?

(5) Is the new Chute for paper goods only ? What about organic
wastes collecting, ...sanitizing \ washing of the Chute ?

(6) Odor Control ?
(7) U.L. approved listings of all Access doors ?
(8) Are there plans to control vermin \ rodents \ ants ?
