Is there a requirement for the height of street fire hydrants in Canada building code (including OBC) or fire code?

I measured the height of a few fire hydrants on the streets in Ontario, the height from ground level to the center of hose connection range from 18" to 31".

Here are some pictures:

Don't know aboiut Canada. Here in the USA 18" to 36" at the center-line of the 4" connection is typical. Some jurisdictions say to the center-line of the lowest connection. Some do not provide a maximum dimension.

There may be an NFPA standard on that, but in the U.S. neither the building code nor the building-related fire safety and fire prevention codes address hydrants, for the simple reason that they're not part of the building.

Typically, we just make sure they are acceptable o our fire fighters. There must be an NFPA standard on it though...
