Working through rescheck (washington state, based on 2021 IECC). It's telling me the minimum HSPF for my heat pump (using mini splits) is 10. Is that correct? I don't see anything in C403.3.2 that requires that. Is there an accepted conversion from HSPF2 to HSPF? All the mini splits I can find have HSPF2 in the 8-9 range.

Look at the additional energy credit requirements in the wsec. In rescheck it sounds like you selected the improved heating option for the required credit...not sure what the exact name of it is as I'm not at my desk to check.

Someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly

The Commercial portion of the IECC is tied to COMcheck. The Residential portion of the IECC is tied to REScheck.
